cormorant fisherman

Hi! Its my entry to the character design challenge for January. My version of cormorant fisherman theme... tried to show atmosphere of this mysterious ancient tradition, i was inspired by many elements like places and authentic clothes what still are used... looks very spectacular! at the same time my cormorant is wilfully depicted relaxed and enjoying his life because while searching for refs i found details of the reality, kind of other side of beautiful picture -training birds and fishing process...what on my opinion is quite cruel especially if it's mostly for entertaining tourists.
